Berliner Glas Surface Technology has prescribed itself to the surface technology of glass.

For almost 40 years we structure the surface of glass by etching, to define the surface texture/state, roughness and gloss value for a variety of markets and applications.

In the possibilities of target adjustability of surface characteristics, uniformity and reproducibility of our etching structure is our own developed etch-dip-process unbeatable.

In the field of coating, we rely on the proven sol-gel-dip coating process. Here we set the standard for state-of-the-art technique with production technology and the know-how of our employees. Coated can be both flat and curved surfaces (including the inside of pipes/tubes). Thereby will be used different materials with coatings from interference optical multilayer coating to nano technological functional layers, to realize a variety of functions.

Through the combination of both technologies the possibilities are multiplied. Thus, special products to customized solutions can be realized.

For both processes are different production lines available – from flexible production lines for small batches to full automated, robotic controlled production lines for series production.
