High Precision Prism Systems

SwissOptic AG, a company in the Berliner Glas Group, offers a reliable and flexible production of high precision prism systems which increasingly require establishing deterministic and numerically controlled processes for precision optics manufacturing. The prism system shows, that in addition to component accuracy (angle accuracy <1") and surface flatness (< L/40), coating uniformity and assembly precision have a decisive influence on the overall final system performance.                            

A deterministic process of surface modification, using local correction of specific individual exterior faces of the prism assembly, can be applied.
