BERLINER GLAS offers display panels made of glass or plastics with various functional features.
These panels constitute an important component for all applications in which making information visible is involved.
Reduced reflection and a specified influence – depending on the requirements - on the contrast and transmission with single or double-sided optical or chemical anti-reflection layers.
Lamination with AR or ITO coated films, provided with a hard coating, consequently influence the transmission depending on the needs and offer protection against fragmentation.
Radiation-shielding in the low-impedance ranges is achieved by using mesh films to avoid electromagnetic radiation (EMC) from plasma screens.
Panels are protected against impact with several approaches (PVB film) in addition to a chemical strengthening of the glass components.
Design elements which also provide functional support are applied in a screen-printing process with 2-component, UV or frit-ink colors. The maximum dimensions of the printed surface are 1250 mm x 880 mm.
