Berliner Glas at IFA in Berlin
Berliner Glas is represented three times at IFA. Renowned TV manufacturer set design characteristics of their latest TVs in the premium TV market with the capabilities of the Berlin-based glass refinement company – and that sometimes since years.
High-class front panels with function supported glass are character defined features which make the TV to a design experience. The panels are not only used for the appearance of the TV, but are also functional. They are coated, printed, offer a design edge work, are strengthened or laminated with functional foil and finally assembled and delivered to the TV manufacturer. Berliner Glas manufactures panels for TV applications in sizes from 26” to 52”. The project begins far before the actual production because the professionals of Berliner Glas are already there when it comes to the design and development of the next generation.
Jörg Bannicke, managing director of the Technical Glass Division: “We at Berliner Glas are proud that three of our customers in the premium market for TVs are to see at IFA. Of course, captivates primarily the technology of the TV, which we support with our functional panels. Because at the end we “look” through the front panel which decisively shapes look and image quality of the TV. For many customers the design aspect are important too and a front panel in a unique shape offers the ideal possibility to stand out from the crowd and emphasize the aesthetics of the TV.
