Berliner Glas fabricates display panels with specific functional features including different solutions to avoid undesired sparkling effects and to reduce reflections.
Chemical Surface Treatment – Etching – of glass can produce a specific controlled roughness level with reduce glare and reflection on the glass surface. Etching as well as etching in combination with laminating special high performance films leads to optimum surface characteristics, guarantees true, clear colors and high resolution in different applications such as cover screens, LCD-Displays and Computer Screens.
The double sided etched floatglass non sparkling can be provided in a size up to max. 22.24“ x 32.48“ and in a thickness of 3.3 mm. With a surface roughness of 0.7 typically and a transmission of 88%, Nonflex Tec can be an alternative for all display solutions. The Berliner Glas process allows for high resolution, non-glare surfaces at a lower cost than anti-reflective coatings. |
