The Photonics Division of Berliner Glas Group is a globally active supplier of technologically advanced optical solutions supporting manufacturers of devices that utilize the broad spectrum of light. Using our optical know-how and manufacturing technology, we provide innovative integrated optics, mechanics and electronics solutions.

                  

To create the best optical system for our customer, we analyze and design, plan purposefully, produce and measure. And that way we always attain the shared goal: the shortest design, prototype, zero-series and product introduction phases.

We support the market with spherical, cylindrical and aspherical optics which will be used by customers with semicon, medical or industrial applications.

Our plano optics show very high precision and extremely tight dimensions: there are prisms, beam splitters, windows, wedges or filters among others which we produce from optical glass, glass ceramic, quartz, filter glass and many special materials.

Our thin-film technology and state-of-the-art processes ensure the best results in increasing reflections or eliminating them by means of various different materials and layer thicknesses, all according to the specific requirements. In the spectral ranges of DUV, UV, VIS, NIR and IR and also in the production of filters with and without gradation or holographic gratings.

The demand for carefully coordinated optical components, assemblies and high-performance optical system is growing constantly. With creativity, technical knowledge and an outstanding infrastructure, combined with the highest possible precision in production and documentation, we keep finding new and convincing solutions to a wide variety of problems.

Production is one thing, measuring is something else and we do both. We use comprehensive instrumentation techniques and develop individual instrumentation structures in order to meet your individual profile of requirements - fully and completely.
